Cubs at Pecan Park

On Saturday, May 11, 2024, the Floresville Lions Cub Club spent the morning picking up trash at Pecan Park. They did an awesome job and then played on the park equipment afterwards.

Cub Leaders are Lion Bonnie Sario and Lion Katelund Allen.

If you are interested in Cubs, please email to info@floresvillelionsclub.org. Cubs are age 5-12.

Volunteering helps children see the world from another person’s perspective. Learning through doing provides them an
opportunity to obtain new skills, take pride in their community and build confidence in themselves.

Through the Floresville Lions Club Cub Club, children can also learn to develop empathy, compassion and responsibility. Serving with the Floresville Lions Club draws on the experience of a local organization with members who are already devoted to helping others.

Cub Club Members:
• for ages 5-12
• meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at the Sam Fore Jr. Public Library, 1103 4th Street, in Floresville, at 5:30 p.m. (Every child should have an adult parent, grandparent or guardian joining with them at the meeting. If you have 3 children, one parent is enough.)
